In the Spring Term our theme will be Hei Mistar Urdd. We will be learning about the history of the Urdd and the Eisteddfod and look forward to talking part in our school Eisteddfod. The class will be working on a project, based on the Urdd Eisteddfod competitions to create a website. We look forward to combining the class work with the expressive artistic opportunities that arise from our project with the Urdd. In our maths lessons we will focus on addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, managing money and shape. We will study light and sound in our science lessons and adopt the Cynllun Clonc plan, where we will practice language constructions. In our language lesson we will be writing a story, newspaper article, personal letter and a recount. We will have the opportunity to learn about the countries of the world and develop our digital skills later in the month as we look at Wales’ progress in the Six Nations Championship.
We kindly ask you to read with your child every night, and discuss the contents of the book.
