Our daily Religious Service is based on Christian values and principles. Each class in turn is responsible for the service and pupils are given the opportunity to take part in these acts of worship which are based either on
- a Bible story
- moral development
- a study of people past and present.
In the classroom, Religious Education is included as an integral part of theme work, ensuring pupils have a balanced understanding of Christianity and other religions, as well as the place of religion and religious beliefs in a modern society.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child/children from R.E. lessons and acts of worship, however they must inform the headteacher if they so wish.
